Thai stocks opened down 0.08% at the start of trade this morning. The Stock Exchange of Thailand main index opened at 1,548.07 points, down 1.17 points from Thursday’s close. The trade value was 1.99 billion baht, with 378.3 million shares traded. The SET50 index opened at 976.99 points, down 0.51 points, or 0.05%, with a total trade value of 935.29 million baht. The MAI index went up 1.06 points or 0.18% to stand at 597.08 points, with total transaction value of 44.69 million baht.
